The first trimester is the first 12 weeks of your pregnancy. This will seem like a very short trimester to most pregnant mothers due to the fact that they do not normally find out they are pregnant until they are already considered to be 5 or 6 weeks pregnant. However short, it may be the most important trimester of your pregnancy. As you read through our articles on each week of pregnancy, you will discover their are many monumental changes happening in your body as well as your fetus. With those changes comes some serious lifestyle changes as well as precautions that you should be taking.
You will most likely want to evaluate your eating habits, your exercise routine (or lack thereof), your working conditions and any other bad habits you may have. Now you are caring for not just yourself, but for your future child as well, so it is very important to do what is best for you both.
We look forward to joining you in this journey and hope that you will have a happy and healthy first trimester leading into an amazing birth.
